Hollywood Beach has been selected as one of the 2009 "Best Beaches for Families" in Florida by Fodor's Travel Guides, and is the only beach in all of Broward and Miami-Dade counties to be recognized for its quality sand and amenities.

Family Bicycle Rentals
Rent a bicycle for the hour, day or week and enjoy a scenic ride along the newly renovated oceanfront Broadwalk, Hollywood's 2.5 mile pedestrian promenade framed by charming cafes, restaurants and shops as well as boutique hotels, resorts and quaint seaside inns and bed and breakfasts.
Hop on the trolley to the ArtsPark in Downtown Hollywood to catch a glass blowing demonstration and listen to the "singing" baobab tree followed by some time spent in the children's play with an interactive fountain delighting the kids with playful bursts of water and an innovative playground designed to stimulate creativity.

The Hollywood Trolley is extremely popular. We had over 70,000 passengers in 2012, over 80,000 passengers in 2013, and over 100,000 passengers in 2014!
The Hollywood Trolley provides a public transportation service to improve mobility, enhance the visitor experience and ease parking demand and traffic congestion.
This service is funded through a Public Transport Service Development Grant from the Florida Department of Transportation with matching funds from the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency and its funding partners: City of Hollywood, Broward County, Children's Services Council and South Broward Hospital District.
About the Hollywood Trolley:
• Operates seven days a week:
* Monday - Thursday, 7am - 9pm
* Friday, 7am - 11pm
* Saturday, 10am - 11pm
* Sunday, 10am - 9pm
• Departs approximately every 30-40 minutes from over a dozen stops on Hollywood beach and historic downtown
• $1 per ride/per person - riders will pay on-board the trolley - Exact change required
